Photo Gallery of Songs of Praise at St Chads

In early October 2008, Rowan Morton-Gledhill (BBC Producer) and her team of specialist technicians and advisers arrived to spend 5 days or so to produce recordings for THREE separate Songs of Praise programmes.

• Songs of Praise: Remembrance - Sunday 9th November 2008
• Songs of Praise: Advent 4 (Christmas Carols) -  Sunday 21st December 2008
• Songs of Praise: Shrewsbury – Sunday 22nd November 2009

The week will live in our memories long after the programmes have been viewed on the television. The photos only catch a glimpse of proceedings and include candid shots of a few of our key workers, many of them volunteers. We gained more from the experience than I think anyone expected thanks to the professionalism, courtesy and warmth of each member of the BBC team. Thank you to visitors and the Home Team – a successful event and a great experience.
